Our Wines
Showcasing the Best of Sonoma
Appellation Series Wines
The Appellation Collection wines are single, varietal wines that thrive in distinct Sonoma County AVAs including Alexander Valley, Dry Creek Valley and Sonoma Coast. These wines capture the essence and characteristics unique to each region.
Single Vineyard Wines
In the 1970’s, Chateau St. Jean became a pioneer in vineyard designation within Sonoma County, with the release of the 1975 Belle Terre Chardonnay. In addition to our St. Jean Estate vineyards, other long-standing partners include Belle Terre, Lyon Vineyard, Hallberg Ranch, Durell Vineyard, Benoist Ranch and Gap’s Crown.
Reserve Wines
The Chateau St. Jean Reserve Sonoma County wines give our winemaker the opportunity to blend together the distinct characteristics of each sub-appellation, from Sonoma Valley to Alexander Valley to Sonoma Coast, in an effort to make the best wine possible from that vintage.
Cinq Cépages
Cinq Cépages is the flagship wine of Chateau St. Jean. Each year our winemaker selects fruit from the finest Bordeaux varietal vineyards to craft a wine that showcases the best of Sonoma County. It combines the strengths of the diverse regions to create an approachable, well balanced, and elegant wine.
