Since 1973, both our iconic home and our iconic wines have given people around the corner and around the globe a chance to experience the richness, nuance, and joy of Sonoma’s winemaking tradition. We invite you to make yourself at home in our chateau and gardens at one of our tasting experiences.

We are open 7 days a week from 10:00am – 5:00pm with the last seating at 3:30pm. Review our Wellbeing Page to address any COVID-19 safety questions upon visiting the property.
Cinq Cépages Vertical Tasting
New in 2024 we are celebrating our flagship wine Cinq Cépages by opening our library wines and offering a vertical tasting of the most coveted vintages of our Cinq Cépages, the Bordeaux blend that brought Chateau St. Jean and Sonoma to the attention of the wine world. Wines within the vertical tasting will be expertly paired with small bites selected by our chef and, for an added historical perspective, served in private rooms on the second floor of the chateau that are rarely open to the public. This experience is offered Friday – Sunday only at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
$180 per person | 90 minutes | 2-7 people
$125 for Club Members, $145 for Partner Wineries. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Advanced reservations are highly recommended, as walk-in seating is limited. Your reservation should account for all guests in your party, and only guests participating in the tasting will be accommodated at the table.
Chateau Experience
A Selection of Our Finest Wines!
Enjoy a seated tasting of our limited Reserve and winery exclusive wines in the elegant surroundings of our 1920’s chateau. Your wine educator will expertly guide you through a flight of five (5) varietal selections while you take in the sweeping vineyard views off our patio or enjoy the richly wood-paneled rooms in the chateau. This experience is 21+ Only. Complimentary for Chateau St. Jean & Connoisseur Club Members and up to 3 guests.
$65 per person, reservations required | 90 minutes | 1-7 people

Belle Terre Experience
Outdoor Tastings!
Discover the range and style of our wines in a flight of five (5) winery exclusive selections from premier Sonoma County vineyard sites. Hosted by a knowledgeable educator, you’ll enjoy beautiful rose garden views during your seated tasting experience. Complimentary for Club Members and up to 3 guests.
$50 per person, Reservations Required | 70 minutes | 1-7 people

Chateau St. Jean Club Member Tasting
A Special Tasting Menu for Club Members!
Our wine club members are invited to enjoy a seated tasting of five wine club-exclusive selections on our beautiful Wine Club Patio, available exclusively for Chateau St. Jean & Connoisseur Wine Club Members. Relax on comfortable lounge furniture while our Wine Club Ambassador informs your tasting experience.

Complimentary for Chateau St. Jean & Connoisseur Club Members and up to 3 guests.

Déjeuner au Chateau: Estate Lunch
Let’s Do Lunch!
Reserve your own private outdoor picnic table to enjoy wine and our estate picnic lunch. This is the perfect experience for a lovely afternoon with friends and family. The $65 per person comes with a 1/2 bottle of wine per person from our curated wine list, reserved picnic table and your choice of sandwich or salad lunch.

– This is a non-hosted experience that must be booked 24 hours in advance
– Group size 2-8 max (must be over 21 to book)

Chez Nous Reserve Tasting
Private Tasting!
Make yourself at home in the chateau’s dining room with a sit-down, private tasting for your group of 8-15 guests. Your wine educator will expertly guide you through a flight of five (5) varietal selections in a setting that will transport you to the elegance of another time. This experience is intended for guests 21 or older.
$90 per person | 90 minutes | 8-15 people
Complimentary for Chateau St. Jean & Connoisseur Club Members and up to 4 guests.

No outside food or beverages are allowed. Advanced reservations are required. Your reservation should account for all guests in your party, and only guests participating in the tasting will be accommodated at the table. Guests must be 21 or older for this experience. A 20% gratuity is automatically included for all bookings. The Chez Nous Reserve Tasting is only complimentary for Chateau St. Jean Wine Club Members & Connoisseur Wine Club Members only. Multiple members will receive a maximum number of 6 complimentary guests tickets. Foley Food & Wine Society sister winery club members will be charged the full price. Reservations for this experience are only available Friday – Sunday with 2 seatings at 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Please inquire for availability outside of the regularly scheduled tasting days for this experience.
Bocce, Bordeaux & Burgundy Experience
Relax with friends and take in our beautiful Sonoma Valley setting as you enjoy wines by the bottle in a private outdoor area reserved just for your group and equipped with bocce ball, lounge furniture and picnic tables.
$55 per person | 2 hours | 10-35 people
No outside food or beverages are allowed. This outdoor experience does not include a host, is limited to group sizes of 10-35 people (including persons under 21) and is available weather permitting. A 20% gratuity is automatically included for all bookings. Multiple members will receive a maximum number of 6 complimentary guests tickets.
